We take great pride in our excellent level of care in our warm home environment. We know that our residents have worked hard all their lives and they deserve the best care we can give them. Because of this knowledge we have poured hours and hours in to making Montelena the best home in town. Along with the friendly and inviting environment we only hire loving, respectful team members. We know that great food and activities make all the difference so we hand make three meals a day from scratch and plan out fun stimulating activities that our residents actually like. We have worked exceptionally hard because we receive great joy from happy well cared for residents.

Fresh Meals
Every day we provide three nutritionally balanced home-cooked meals. Snacks and hydration are available 24/7.
Invigorating Activities
We bring in various activities throughout the week that are designed to stimulate the mind, body, and soul.
Certified Caregivers
We always have State Certified Caregivers on staff to ensure maximum quality care is being provided to each resident according to their needs.
24/7 Care Staff
Caregivers will always be available to the residents at all times.
State of The Art Technology
Our Home is equipped with the latest technology to ensure maximum comfort and security. From personal wireless headphones to auto locking doors, Montelena Assisted Living has it all.
Daily Housekeeping
Beds will be made each day, linen services offered twice or more a week, and each room will be deep cleaned once a week.
Individual Call Pendants
Each resident is equipped with their own personal call pendant to notify staff for immediate attention.
Assistance With Activities of Daily Living
We will happily assist with bathing, toileting, medication administration, transferring, escorting, etc. We are here to serve you.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What's included in the base price?The room rent, three home cooked meals a day plus snacks, daily activities, entertainment, and celebrations, personal laundry service, cleaning of bedrooms and bathrooms, changing of linens, supervision of all medications, and best of all…lots of love, attention, and respect.

Do you have awake staff at night?We provide this service when occupancy allows, in the mean time staff will be living on site and will be happy to assist at any time of the night.

Are bedrooms furnished?Yes and no. Residents are welcome to bring their own personal furnishing for their bedrooms but if they prefer not to we will furnish the rooms. We do not include a TV, but Cable is provided and we can assist with connecting your personal TV.

Are guests able to eat with the residents? Is there a charge for this?Guests are welcome to have a meal with the resident, however, we ask that you give us 24 hour notice so that we may be prepared with enough food for the meal. There is no charge for the meal but we respectfully ask that you respect this favor by reasonably limiting such requests. For those wishing to eat here very often, please work out a meal plan with the manager

Are there daily activities?Yes. There will be at least two activities scheduled each day. One of these will involve some sort of exercise for the body and the other will focus on exercise for the mind. There will be things to do both indoors and outdoors.

Will you have any entertainment or celebrations?Absolutely. There will be scheduled entertainment brought in from the outside and we will find lots of occasions to celebrate at Montelena Assisted Living!

Will there be transportation available?Yes. We will provide transportation within a 10 mile radius for up to two appointments per month. There will be a charge assessed for additional transportation

Will my medications be supervised?Yes. Our licensed nurse will be reviewing and monitoring all of the medications at Montelena. All medications will be kept in a securely locked medication cart and administered by either the nurse or one of the certified caregivers under the direction of the nurse.

Do you accept AHCCCS residents?Currently we do not accept AHCCCS but we are in the process of obtaining a contract so we can as soon as possible.

Do you have both private and semi-private rooms?Yes, we have three private rooms, one large semi-private, and one master semi-private room. Our semi-private rooms have the options to be converted into private rooms.
